“I thought Mariela did an outstanding job on my eyebrow microblading and doing my eyelids. She was patient with me and very considerate of my needs. She showed total professionalism at all times and put me at completely at ease before and during both procedures. I will highly recommend her to others.””I had a GREAT experience! Mariela is very professional and nice, she explains in detail every step of the process, and makes you feel as comfortable as she can. I had permanent makeup done at another place that turned into a nightmare, she had worked on getting it removed and very excited on the outcome. She also fixed my mom’s eyebrows. This place is very clean and the work is exceptional, thank you!!!””Mariela microbladed my previously meager brows a month ago and I love them! If you are considering having her do your brows you will get more than permanent color- you get permanent shaping by a true artist! This makes plucking strays so easy, and I have never been able to get the lovely shape she did. I’m so happy!”

There’s a typo in Emma Watson’s ‘Time’s Up’ tattoo04.06.18

I love Emma Watson. I always have, and I always will. There was something about growing up with her, from an awkward child into an even more awkward adult, that made me feel close to her, and the space she once carved out in my frizzy-haired, tween heart is pretty much incomparable. But ever since Harry Potter ended, I can’t help but notice, she’s trying really hard.

In many ways, she’s taken incredible bounds forward her work as a UN Goodwill Ambassador and with the He For She campaign has not, and will not, go unnoticed. But what also hasn’t gone unnoticed is the giant ‘Time’s Up’ tattoo she debuted at the Oscars last night, along with the apostrophe it’s missing.

You can see it in her eyes. She knows she fucked up.

Luckily, it’s only temporary. You can tell by the glowy circle around it, and the fine font, that she applied it about 30 minutes beforehand, so it could’ve been way worse.

And take it from someone with 15 tattoos, of all of the typos to encounter, an apostrophe is the least of your worries you can always edit one in after the fact. There’s no getting rid of an ex boyfriend’s name, or lyrics to a song you got wrong. (My sister used to think the ‘I want your body’ song was about Joe Biden. Imaging having to explain that to a hookup.)

But of course, we can’t let Emma get away with it that easily.

And then there’s this guy who think’s she’d be a “nightmare to go out with.”

As if he’d have the chance.

So thanks for debuting your tattoo, Emma, typo or not. Because at least now we all know how big of a douche George is.

Besides, in 2013, one of Emma Watson’s (since deleted) tweets included “thankyou’s” and the wrong kind of stationery versus stationary, so I guess she never really was Hermione after all.

Power Rangers / Nightmare Fuel – TV Tropes04.01.18

Power Rangers is normally the poster child for Never Say “Die”, but it has had a few creepifying moments over the years.Remember, this page is for describing general sources of Nightmare Fuel. Troper Tales-like nattery examples are a no-go here (see the disclaimer below). In order for Nightmare Fuel tabs to survive, a new writing style is going to be used, nicknamed Example Lobotomy. Basic rules: just list facts as they are, don’t just say “character X” or “the X scene” (such zero context examples will be zapped), spoiler policy to be determined on a case-by-case basis, italics to be applied to works’ names only and not to give emphasis on what tropers say. “X scared me” is already implied by the mere addition of that example by the troper.

75 Cool Foot and Flip Flop Tattoos – Get Cool Tattoo …03.29.18

Foot tattoos are becoming increasing popular amongst both males and females. To many people the foot is considered one of the least prettiest parts of our bodies, getting a tattoo on your foot may be seen as a good opportunity to make your feet look nicer, but surely this isnt why everyone is rushing off to get their feet tattooed?

Often (whether we like to admit it or not) popular areas to get tattooed can be determined by celebrities getting tattoos in the same spot. Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Anniston and Rihanna, to name a few, all sport ink on their feet and definitely helpinfluence the younger generation to do the same. However the main reason that foot tattoos remain popular is because they can easily be hidden out of sight with a pair of shoes, which depending on the job you have, can often be an added benefit.

So without further ado lets take a look at 30 of our favourite foot and flip flop tattoos

Clearly not afraid to go under the tattoo gun, this girl flaunts her skull foot designs that look absolutely stunning.

His and hers. Nautical tattoos have long been popular for sailors and boating enthusiasts to get tattooed, particularly on their feet.

Meme and Pepe two beautiful designs to represent two beautiful people in our lives.

Illuminate and a peacock feather. Both compliment each other nicely.

One of the things to keep in mind with foot tattoos is caring for them. Foot tattoos (if not looked after properly) will fade quicker than tattoos in other areas due to it been an area where you shed more skin and often under more sunlight.

Dont let this completely deter you though. The skin on the foot is deep and with proper moisturization the ink should not fade.

Two best friends getting matching foot tattoos.

Getting tattoos on the bottom of your foot is meant to be the most painful area to get tattooed on the body due to the amount of nerve sensors there. If you an with stand the pain though, than you can get incredible results like this beautiful mandala design.

Free Spirit with parts of the feather breaking off in to a flock of birds, very cool idea for a unique and interesting tattoo.

Some cool vintage designs on a ladies feet. These remind us of the Sailor Jerry style tattoos that are very popular at the moment.

A gorgeous looking owl tattoo that has been shaded with the use of dots.

One of the most popular foot tattoos for females is that of the bird. Since a lot of people want their own unique design these days rather than something cliche or overdone people are coming up with amazingly beautiful designs such as the bird above.

Another example of a gorgeous bird tattoo on someones foot.

Besides birds, flowers and floral designs are very popular on feet particularly ones with vines and intertwining flowers.

We particularly like leg sleeves like the above picture when the person has picked a common style and gets all the tattoos in the same style so they are matching.

Before you jump to conclusions and think they have a swastika tattooed on them, its actually a Buddhist symbol and does really look beautiful in this mandala foot tattoo.

A really cool looking dragon done in all black on someones foot.

Heaven is a place on Earth with you what a beautiful quote and we particularly like this style of cursive script writing that is very simple yet elegant.

Another great example of some floral foot designs, this time with a bit of color added in to really make the tattoo pop!

A couple of gorgeous roses on the feet. The great thing about getting outlines of roses done like this is should you ever get sick and tired of them you can always color them in later in bright red and have a completely new design to look at!

A great example of how pinks and blacks can look so good together on this beautiful lotus tattoo design.

Dressing up for a formal occasion? Why not top off your foot tattoo with some nice jewels like the example above.

This ladies and gentlemen is as good as it gets when it comes to tattoo shading. You can tell its the work of a very talented tattooist when it looks this ultra realistic.

A gorgeous and unique take on the peacock design, this time incorporating swirls and shapes that would usually be used in a mandala piece.

A beautiful photograph of a girls feet with some bold tattoo designs.

Love super simple but looks great. We like how it almost looks like they have used the infinity symbol as well in what is a really unique type face.

Another example of a tattoo on the bottom of the foot, this time with geometric patterns complimenting the shape of the foot. Whilst probably the easiest tattoo to hide, remember this is probably the place where your tattoo will fade the most due to walking on it all the time.

Batman vs. Superman tattoo design very cool!

A beautiful looking feather fern that incorporates a lot of different patterns such as leopard print and even what looks like a beehive inside it. Sometimes really intricate tattoos like this can be a great idea to get on your foot and be able to show off to everyone really easily.

A simple yet cool anchor tattooed just below the ankle. If youre just wanting something small tattooed it can cost just as much as something bigger if the tattooist charges on an hourly rate. However if youre extra nice to them they might let you get a few little ones for the same price!

Continuing on with the bat theme, heres someone that has filled in bats on their left foot and non filled in ones on their right. We imagine this is the same kind of person that liked to wear opposite laces on their shoes as a kid. Either way its a very cool tattoo design.

Anklet style tattoo band featuring a feather. Bands are not quite as popular as they used to be but they are definitely still a great looking tattoo design.

A really cool looking bird design. We particularly like the use of pinks and greens in this one and then to top it off the person has matched their toenail polish with the green on the birds wings.

An abstract style ankle design. This one has elements of native American art work which is very popular to get tattooed.

A simple yet poignant love heart. Some times simple works best!

One step at a time.. A clever and witty tattoo design, particularly to get on your foot.

Foreign language tattoos remain popular to get, particularly so if you have heritage from that country or have travelled their recently.

Another example of some friends getting foot tattoos at the same time. Often it can be daunting getting your first tattoo which is why often two people will go in and get ones together.

A really cool chandelier tattoo design. It almost looks like lace and will work very well with the right dress and shoes.

This is the kind of tattoo that nightmares are made of. Is it an X-ray or a tattoo? Yes believe it or not its a tattoo of someones feet bones on top of their skin.

This is a great way to incorporate both your feet in to the one tattoo design by getting a cage on one foot and the birds flying out across to your other foot. Very clever and symbolic at the same time.

Another scary looking tattoo that looks like the kind of thing you would expect to see on The Walking Dead. Whilst it may not be for everyone, there is no denying that the art work is very well done with how realistic and scary it looks at the same time.

A simple moon design that has been well placed to work with the curve of the foot. Astrology and astronomy symbols are both becoming increasingly popular designs to get done and so is the whole minimalist style where the tattoo is very simple with minimal line work and often containing geometric patterns or shapes.

I need you like you would not believe Psalms 3:5. Religious phrases havealways, and will always continue to be popular tattoos to get. Again this is another example of how some simple script style writing in black can really look great. We particularly like how the s is more of a love heart shape at the end.

We saved our favourite one for last. A bird design on each foot, each in a similar style to match but still slightly different. The one on the left foot is holding flowers in its mouth where as the one on the right foot is holding cherries in its mouth. Like we said earlier birds continue to be the most popular style of tattoo to get on your foot and this is a great example of why.

Power Tattoo – TV Tropes03.26.18

One of the many components of a Power Makeover, the Power Tattoo is a distinguishing mark that shows a character has a certain set of powers. It may only appear when the time is right, or it may be visible at all times, but it frequently tends to glow. Expect it to be placed somewhere on the body that reflects its usage. The more benign version of Mark of the Beast. If the powers were granted to them, may overlap with Claimed by the Supernatural.Compare Marked Change, where the marks generally cover more of the body, but only when someone has powered up. See also Volcanic Veins and Tron Lines, which similarly glow. A person covered in these is a Human Notepad. If the tattoo is a living creature, it’s an Animated Tattoo.

“Do not watch this movie on drugs unless you’ve got a mean hankering for PTSD.”Do you remember as a kid, you couldn’t wait until you were 17 so you could watch R-rated movies without your parents’ permission? Well, the scariness of these movies may make it feel like it wasn’t worth the wait. (And some of these movies aren’t even rated R.) So, to all the kids out there… try not to grow up too fast. For examples from animated movies, see either the NightmareFuel/Western Animation Film or Anime and Manga section.

Big Gus Ink – Tattoos, Custom Art03.24.18

My background

Big Gus was born and raised in the streets of Los Angeles. His mother was an artist and would always encourage him to draw, paint, and trace as a young child. Big Gus’ mother gave him his first set of paint brushes at the young age of 5 years old. He was only in kindergarten and already painting along side his mother. Unfortunately his mother passed away when Gus was just 19 years old. All though she is not around any more, her artistic influence on her son still lives on today. Gus has a bit of a dark past, growing up with a ruff crowd and getting involved with gangs at a young age. He was always painting murals in the Los Angels Riverbed and showcasing his graffiti skills all around L.A.Big Gus began tattooing at the age of 14.

He has been a self taught artist his whole life, all though paying close attention to those better then he was to improve on his skills as an artist. But he knew there was more out there for him then gang banging. He wanted to make sure his mother was looking down on him from above with pride. He started tattooing professionally at age 22 out of Distinctive Ink in Pico Rivera. Big Gus began to attend tattoo conventions. He studied and observed all of the different styles and techniques. He became a fan of artists such as Jack Rudy, Freddy Negrete, Paul Booth, Bob Tyrell and so many others. He saw that he could actually use his art skills to make a good living, to travel the world, and to meet other artists from all corners of the globe. He later became friends with these same artists that he looked up to. Some of the respected old school artists like CatFish Carl, Tony Olivas, and Rick Walters schooled Big Gus on the fact that tattooists honoring the traditions and respecting the legacy and talents of fellow artists were becoming a dying breed. He knew that he was part of a new generation of these artists, and it was part of his responsibility to keep these traditions alive. Today Big Gus is a world class and world known tattoo artist. His popular style of fine line, Black and Grey-Photorealism graces the pages of Tattoo Publications in 40 countries. He has won over 300 awards world wide and is the Star of Spike TV hit series TATTOO NIGHTMARES which has become a top hit in so many other countries including the states. He has seen huge success with designs for clothing companies such as Sullen Clothing and Tribal and his very own line for fisherman called FISH ELITE and so many others. Big Gus is an inspiration to the troubled youth out there. He has sacrificed so much to get where he is now, and he lives a true West Coast OG success story.

Proud to call him my friend!

Woman with eyeball tattoo that caused partial blindness …03.23.18

Woman with eyeball tattoo that caused partial blindness considering removing eye

The Canadian woman who received an eyeball tattoo that left her nearly blind is now considering eye removal surgery.

Caitlin Gallinger, 24, revealed the news on Facebook a few days ago, writing, My hope is gone. I’m very close to asking for removal.

In September, Gallinger, who works as a model, took to social media to share what happened when she attempted to tint the white of her eye, or sclera, purple.

According to herFacebook post, the tattoo artist did not dilute the ink and used too much of it, which brought on an infection.

She claims she properly followed postcare instructions but felt intense pain shortly after her appointment. Her eye also began leaking purple ink.

After rushing to the hospital, she was prescribed antibiotic eye drops for about a week, but things worsened and her eye had swollen completely shut. Apparently, the medicine spread the infection, causing a clump around her cornea, and doctors discovered she had significant sclera damage.

While she began seeing a specialist to lower her risk of going completely blind, shes now thinking about removing her eye.

Since I’ve always been honest on here, I will continue to be. This is beyond heartbreaking. I CANNOT open it at all without significant effort, she said. Im so tired of it all.

Although she hasnt made a final decision on the surgery, she continues to advise others about the dangers.

I am NOT sharing this with you to cause trouble, I am sharing this to warn you to research who you get your procedures by as well as how the procedure should be properly done, she once wrote. Just please be cautious who you get your mods from and do your research. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.

3. Skull with Rose Tattoos

Women are renowned for making the morbid symbolism of a skull more beautiful by adding roses, flowers in general, stars, or other forms of beautiful art and patterns to it. Here lies a perfect example of such a tat. You can add anything you desire to the eye cavities, mouth, nose, or even place designs on the teeth.

4.Divine, Surreal, Native Tats

Spirituality is a popular theme for leg tattoos, along with culture and ancestral lineage. Here we can see mythological creatures that have been mentioned in many cultures old tales, paired with the moon and sun that are significant to many religions. The Native American women facing each other add a bit of a hint as to where this womens lineage might come from.

5. Bow Tattoo

This tattoo gives off a 3D, realistic appeal that truly looks as if a bow is encircling the womans leg. It reminds me of a ballerinas tie, though we can see it doesnt continue down to the foot. Many women find bow tattoos such as this one appealing since its a lovely symbol of femininity.

6.Framed Dagger & Rose withEmbellishments

Usually were accustomed to seeing a dagger pierce through a heart, but here we can see its piercing through a rose. The symbolism is is different and makes this tattoo unique to the wearer, but framing a dagger with a vintage design is often a lovely way to bring your audiences eye directly to the tat. These piercing colors and shades stand out, giving the wearer a gothic look.

7.Remembering the Dead

If youre familiar with Dia Des Los Muertos, then youre accustomed to seeing skull designs similar to this one around Halloween time. The skulls are decorated to enhance the beauty life gives us, not to scare the onlooker. Here we see the woman has also included a name, Felipe, in remembrance of someone she loved (perhaps a grand father, uncle, brother, etc.).

8. Dream Catcher Tattoo

Dream catchers are of Native American origins, normally hung above the bed of an individual to catch the nightmares and bad dreams of the sleeper, represented by the beads within the web, and to allow all the good dreams to pass through the center hole where all the geometric folds of the web come together. Getting dream catchers permanently tatted on your body is sure to help you have a better nights rest (wonder if it works?).

9.Pirates and the Open Sea

Are you a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean? Or maybe you enjoy the old skool classics such as the legendsof Blackbeard and other famous pirates who presumably truly existed? Or maybe you just love old ships! In any case, we like this piece of body art because its symbolic and the framing is lovely, done in ropes normally found on ships and beautiful flowers that pirates would have found on tropical islands.

10. Insect Tattoo Design

Insects have often been identified with the progression of transformation. Some, such as butterflies, must undergo a transformation from a caterpillar. Such symbolism is present in life we go through changes every year; every month; every day! We constantly evolve, just like insects have which have allowed them to be present on the planet since the time of the dinosaurs.

11. Henna Tattoo

Henna is normally done using herbs that stain the skin and eventually wear off after several weeks. However, its become increasingly popular to have these designs permanently inked onto the skin. Despite their use for weddings in certain countries such as India, more and more women are getting these designs simply because theyre beautiful.

12. Sneaky Snakes

These snakes are placed in interesting spots on the back of the legs perfect for women that enjoy flaunting their thighs and wearing short shorts.

13. Dragon Tattoo Designs

Dragons are consistently used to cover up lots of skin, making it a great idea as a piece of body art for a leg sleeve or one that wraps up the thighs, butt, and back.

14.Colorful Feathers

Feathers tattoos have been around for quite some time and are yet another design that will remain popularized. They are symbolic of many different ideas and things, and make a great embellishment on the leg to seemingly pop out of your shoes.

The treble clefcan be seen here, done in a fleur-de-lit like design thats similar to vines accompanied with several notes of music. This is yet another way one can express their love for music. you can choose to have random notes inked on you or choose notes from a song that means something special to you.

19. Tribal Tattoo Design

22. Uniquely Done Roses

Take a good look at how your tattoo artist draws. Every artist has their own unique style. The picture above may be of the common rose, but theyre done in such a lovely and interesting way that catches the eye of the onlooker, who will marvel at the raremanner in which the art was drawn.
