D&D: All 11 Magic Tattoos In Tasha’s Cauldron Of Everything, Explained – Screen Rant11.19.20

The D&D book Tasha's Cauldron of Everything has a section on Magic Tattoos. Here's how to get them, what they do, and all of their powers explained.

Magic Tattoos were originallyimplemented in theDungeons & DragonsUnearthed Arcana playtest material, but have become an official part of theD&Dworld in the latest sourcebook,Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. Here's all there is to know about these wondrous skin-infused items.

Like a normal tattoo, these magical ink imprints are customizable in Dungeons & Dragons, but do have guidelines for appearances depending on the type of tattoo. These unusual marks come in many forms which can look like a brand, a scarification, or any other cosmetic alteration. They're produced with a special magic needle which is pressed to skin to initiate the attunement process. After the attunement is complete, the needle actually turns into the ink that becomes the tattoo on the wearer's skin.

The Lead Rules Designer for Dungeons & Dragons- Jeremy Crawford - elaborates onthese items in aScreen Rant interview. He states that if the attunement ever ends, the Magic Tattoo inDungeons & Dragons "actually slinks off your body and that needle reforms and the tattoo goes back into it."If desired, it can "then be applied to somebody else." He also confirms Dungeons & Dragons' Magic Tattoos count towards the number of magic items a player can be attuned to.

The rarer a Magic Tattoo in Dungeons & Dragons, the more space it'll cover on the wearer's body. Common tattoos cover a small area, such as one hand or a quarter of a limb. Uncommon tattoos cover half a limb or even the bearer's scalp. RareDungeons & Dragons tattoos take up an entire limb, and very rare tattoos can cover two whole limbs, the chest, or the upper back according to Tasha's Cauldron of Everything's lore. Finally,Dungeons & Dragons Legendary Magic Tattoos can cover an entire half of a character's body, like both arms and torso. Tasha's Cauldron of Everything lists 11 different types of Magic Tattoos:

Sophie Turner Shows Off Some New Chic Ink in Honor of Her Daughter Willa – Us Weekly11.19.20

Courtesy of Sophie Turner/Instagram

The sweetest! Sophie Turner reveals a new tattoo in honor of her daughter, Willa, and its as chic as ever.

In an Instagram Story on Wednesday, November 18, the Game of Thrones alum, 24, debuted the fresh new ink in honor of her and Joe Jonas first child. While displaying a cool black tee that reads Get Your Emotions In Motion, she holds her wrist up to showcase a little letter W underneath the J she got in honor for her hubby.

Its no surprise that its as sleek as her other designs. After all, Turner is no stranger to sentimental body art. Last July, she and the Jonas Brother got matching tats to commemorate their late dog, Waldo, just days after his accident. The tattoo was of an intricate, detailed rendering of the pups face.

The couple has gotten many tattoos together. Sometimes theyre matching and other times, theyre not! For instance, they both got designs in honor of their grandfathers, but while his was a picture of his grandpas face, hers was just the letter G written on her pinky. Probably our favorite joint one theyve done is a Toy Story reference. On Jonas wrist reads, To infinity, and on Turners, & beyond.

At this rate we wouldnt be shocked if Jonas soon showed off a W tattoo to match Turners!

The new ink debut comes just days after Willas birth date was revealed via a piece of Jennifer Fisher jewelry. On Sunday, November 15, the English beauty shared a selfie on Instagram, showcasing a gold necklace with 22.07.20. engraved on it. Thank you @jenniferfisherjewelry, she captioned the post.

Turner and Jonas announced that they welcomed their baby girl on July 27. Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby, the couple told Us Weekly in a statement at the time.

‘Not another T-shirt company’: Fort Bragg soldier starts clothing company to bring ‘uncommon groups’ together – The Fayetteville Observer11.19.20

Rachael Riley|The Fayetteville Observer

What started as conversations and drawings during a training exercise has led Fort Bragg soldier Sgt. Michael Mikey Orszulak to manage his own clothing company.

Orszulak, who is originally from El Paso, Texas, has been in the Army for about 10 years and at Fort Bragg since 2017.

I have kids. My oldest is the reason why I joined, said Orszulak, who also comes from a military family. I was living in Florida, and I decided it was time to grow up and support my family.

Orszulak traded his sales job in Jacksonville, Florida, to enlist in the Army and become a medic.

About a 1 1/2 ago, Orszulak was at a training exercise in Louisiana, when he overheard a few other soldiers talking about wanting to share a T-shirt business.

It seems to me thats what a lot of people in the veteran community go to, because its almost very intuitive, Orszulak said.

Orszulak pressed the other guys about where they were in the process and told them he was an artist.

About 24 hours later,he showed them a design, making enough of an impression to be asked to be the designer for their shirts.

It kind of spiraled after that, and we ended up going on a couple of rapid deployments, Orszulak said.

The other guys who started the company went their separate ways, leavingOrszulakat the helm to continue running with it.

Launching a website in September last year, Orszulakhas worked with friends and others to promote the company when hes not on the militarys time.

Ive met a lot of great people with it, and its brought together unlikely groups of people a lot of military people, but we try to reach non-military people, too, cause there is still life after the military, Orszulaksaid.

While Orzulak said he appreciates military service and everything the military has done for him, hes not letting it be his only defining point.

Hes recently decided to transition out of the Army by December next year.

Right now, I dont want to spread myself too thin with running a clothing line and my obligation to the military, which I am following through with, Orszulaksaid.

That way, he said, he can set himself up as the company continues to grow to either become a full-time gig or a strong supportive income, once he transitions out of the Army.

Currently operating as an online e-commerce store, theres, of course, the T-shirts, but also beanies, hats, socks, hoodies, sweatshirts, long sleeve shirts, bikinis and board shorts all bearingOrszulak's creative designs.

And the clothing and designs change with each season.

With the click of a mouse, customers are able to order an item online, which is confirmed by a manufacturer, made and shipped directly to the customer.

Called Shady Clothing Co., Orszulaksaid the name comes from the idea that he doesnt look like a stereotypical soldier.

I have neck tattoos, and sometimes people think that means Im an automatic trouble maker, he said. I used to get called shady That weird shady neck tattoo guy, and so it kind of stuck with me, but once people got to know me, they realized, Youre not this crazy neck tattoo person. I have kids. I love my daughters. Im passionate about art.

Orszulaksaid calling his company Shady takes ownership of the word.

Describing the clothing as having an edgy style, he said its for anyone whos ever ever gotten a bad wrap, or stereotyped based on how they look.

But it's also for anyone from tattoo models to house moms, those who like street stunts on bikes or video games or are dads.

Weve kind of been labeled a tough guy brand, and thats what were trying to get away from this next year, Orszulaksaid.

An example, he said, is one of his friends from New York who he was unsure about whether she liked the clothing brand had positive comments about a pink beanie with the word degenerate on it that launched this fall.

She said its cute, adorable and tough, so thats what we would like to see …. I dont want it to be just another T-shirt company. Its kind of like when I was in high school, I was friends with all groups of people … thats basically what I want the brand to be -- a common interest for unlikely groups to be brought together.

The clothing can be ordered online at shadyclothing.com and also supported by following Shady Clothing Co. on Instagram.

Here’s Why Ed Sheeran’s Tattoos Are So Controversial | TheThings – TheThings11.19.20

Ed Sheeran's very own tattoo artist, who is responsible for most of Ed's ink, is not a fan of his own creations!

Ed Sheeran is one of the biggest names in the world of music! The British-born artist first came to prominence after the release of his debut album, "+", which the singer released nearly a decade ago! After gaining popularity through hit songs such as 'Thinking Out Loud', 'Photography', and of course, one of his biggest hits, 'Shape Of You'. In addition to his own music, Ed Sheeran is also a notable songwriter, which is why the singer is worth over $200 million!

From his charm, sense of humor, and romantic lyrics, Ed Sheeran has been labeled a creative genius, however, it seems as if that does not apply to his tattoos! Ed is covered in ink, particularly on his arms, however, many of his tattoos remain a mystery to the public, as they are made up of designs from paw prints, Lego heads, puzzle pieces, and lizards, all done in color! Although Sheeran is a fan, it seems as if someone isn't, stirring up quite the controversy.

Related:Are Ed Sheeran And Taylor Swift Really Friends?

Ed Sheeran first debuted back in 2011 after the release of his album "+", which was not only the beginning of Sheeran but also set the tone for what would be a successful career for Sheeran. Through his countless hits from 'Shape Of You', 'Photography', and 'Perfect', Ed Sheeran has skyrocketed to international fame and success, allowing himself to be recognized as one of the most talented singers and songwriters of our time. While the artist is known for his creative ways, fans have always wondered what his inspiration was behind his many tattoos.

Sheeran has over 60 tattoos, most of which are on his arms and chest, and they sure do have a lot of stories to tell! While it would take quite some time to go down the roster, it appears as if one person is not a fan of Ed's ink, and that is his tattoo artist! Yes, you read that right, Ed Sheeran's very own tattoo artist, who is responsible for most of Ed's ink, is not a fan of his own creations! This created quite the controversy, mainly amongst Ed Sheeran's fanbase, wondering why his tattoo artist would even make such a comment.

According to Kevin Paul, who has done more than 40 of Ed's tattoos and worked on other big names such as Rihanna and Harry Styles, claims that "they aren't very good", sharing that he regrets doing them very much. This isn't usually the response you would get from an artist, let alone a tattoo artist to the stars, leaving us all quite confused.

While this may seem shocking for Paul to say, the tattooist revealed that he says this to Ed Sheeran every time he sees him. "I take the piss put of Ed all the time, when I'm with him, that they are s***", tattoo artist, Kevin Paul said. Although many of Ed's tattoos have left us slightly confused at times, it seems as if Sheeran is all about his ink, and can't get enough of them!

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Map Reveals All Treasures and Artifacts – ComicBook.com11.15.20

Assassin's Creed Valhalla delivers a plethora of things to find and do in its massive world, and while we've already given you several big tips, tricks, and strategies to get you started in the best way possible, a new map compiled by Reddit user Spankyjnco and GamerTweak will also help quite a bit. As you can see in the image below, it's a stitched-together map of England, and it spotlights all of the various Treasure, Opal, Collectibles, and Artifact spots, though that's not all. You can also see treasure spots that feature armor and Books of Knowledge, and you also see Assassin's Scrolls, Roman Artifacts, and Tattoo Designs, plus some Raid and Synchronization Points. You can check out the map and its description below.

"Spent a long time stitching tons of images/maps/video pictures together to make 1 very large high res image. It's freaking huge so mobile can download it and zoom in to specific items and see them clearly. Feel free to spread it around. sorry my stitching skills are.. bleh"

The map shows just how much Opal is out there to collect, which is great because if you've swung by the Opal store you know that most of the items on sale there are pretty expensive, with many being set at 100 or 120. There are cheaper options of course, but most of the weapons are higher.

Roman Artifacts can be traded in at your settlement (once you build the appropriate area) and Books of Knowledge will unlock new abilities for you to equip and use throughout the world. Assassins scrolls will allow you to unlock new chapters in the overall Assassins vs Templars conflict, though you'll need to build up your Assassin's Bureau before you have that option.

You can find our full review of Assassin's Creed Valhalla right here, and the official description below.

"Driven from Norway by endless wars and dwindling resources in ninth century AD, players will lead Eivors clan of Norsemen across the icy North Sea to the rich lands of Englands broken kingdoms. Players must carve out a new future for their clan, reliving the ruthless fighting style of Viking warriors with a revamped combat system that includes the ability to dual-wield weapons against a greater variety of enemies than ever before. To secure resources, players can lead raids to select locations using their longship to earn much-needed riches and supplies. As the Vikings begin to settle in their new home, they encounter resistance from the Saxons, including King Aelfred of Wessex, who denounces them as heathens and looks to be the sole ruler of a civilized England. Against all odds, Eivor must do what is necessary to keep Valhalla within reach."

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, Stadia, and Luna.

What is a Friday the 13th tattoo and where did the tradition come from? – The Sun11.15.20

FRIDAY the 13th is one day of the year that people often associate with bad luck - but not if you're into your body ink.

For fans of tattoos, Friday 13th has become the equivalent of Black Friday, with cut-price tattoos enticing experienced and first timers in equal measure. But where did the emerging tradition come from?

2

The thought of the number 13 often leaves people shuddering to their core, in anticipation of bad luck.

But in the tattoo world, the number 13 is considered to be a symbol of good luck.

Friday 13th is seen as a perfect opportunity to get a new ink.

This is not just because it's a symbol of good luck, but for a cheap tattoo as well.

2

Popularized bytattooartist Oliver Peck in Dallas,Friday the 13th tattoosare a major event at parlors across the country.

When the trend started, the "holiday" entailed a themed flash sheet - a group of designs to choose from but traditionally not open for modification - which were cheap enough for those struggling with money to be able to get a cool new ink.

Traditionally the flash sheet includes spooky or ghoulish designs such as black cats, blood, coffins, a hockey mask.

But of course, they usually have the number 13 featured within them.

The prices vary by shop, but many offer thetattoofor $13 with a mandatory $7 tip.

Now the day has become one of the busiest of the year for tattoo parlors.

Oliver Peck started DIY-tattooing himself and friends in 1988, then professionally in 1991, and threw his first big Friday the 13th shindig in 1995 at the now shuttered Pair O' Dice shop in Dallas.

"I definitely wasn't the first person to do it, the number 13 tattoo on the Friday the 13th," says Oliver Peck, ofElm St. Tattooin Dallas.

"But, I definitely made it an event."

Peck says Elm Street expects to tattoo around 1,200 customers on this or any Friday the 13th.
