Horror film "The Crazies" (1973) was remade in 2010, starring Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, and Danielle Panabaker.

The movie centered on a town in which the inhabitants mysteriously became infected and carried out horrific acts, from shooting innocent people to setting homes on fire.

The remake was praised by critics, earning a score of 71% on Rotten Tomatoes.

In 2010, Tim Burton directed a live-action remake of Disney's "Alice in Wonderland" that starred Mia Wasikowska as the titular character and Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.

The original animated Disney movie was released in 1951.

The remake, which centered on Alice returning to Wonderland, also starred Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen.

Sam Worthington starred as demigod Perseus in a remake of the 1981 movie "Clash of the Titans."
